the weekend

Started off the weekend with Donovan’s game. We were luck and were able to get done before the wind REALLY picked up. To say this has been a fustrating season would be an understatement. Still winless at 0-5 and have lost to every team in the league. What’s getting harder is keeping Donovan’s motivation up. Just keep on keeping on I guess.

Afterwards Don and I went back to the park to eat before his pitching lessons. He did really well. During his game he (and the ump!) had a little trouble finding the strike zone. While at the lessons he was drilling the call in and hit the target 8-10 times. Next week his lesson is before the game so I’m hoping it’ll help his ball placement.

We then headed over to meet up with Janet who was throwing Florita’s baby shower. In short we didn’t stay long since it was windy and moved it over to Florita’s mom’s house. So cool, Julia and Malya will be like the second coming of Janet and Florita, hahaha

Sunday we were all in recoup from Saturday. I ended up starting to cut the mud flaps for the LX. Finished two of them and before starting on the front two I decided that it was time to quit and spend some time with the family. Got dinner and took a couple snaps of the rig while I was out. Pretty much the weekend in a nut shell.
