surprise for Donovan

So while we were in the ER this past Friday, Donovan missed a party at school. It was also where they were going to announce the raffle winners for a fundraiser he worked really hard for. He was able to raise over $150 and thought he wouldn’t be able to win anything since he didn’t go. He was in tears when I told him he had to miss it.

Lastnight, Janet came home with a gift basket and free tickets for six flags Vallejo! Donovan went through the roof when he found out he won something!

He’s pretty much been running the show here while I’ve been laid up so I’m really glad he was able to see some reward!

Congrats Donovan and thanks for helpping your brother, sister and me!

Pacquiao Nike Quickstrikes! Props to the FTLC crew for getting these. According to Mark, 200 made, Manny is getting the first half for family & friends and the last 100 is split between Fatlace, UNDFTD & Niketowns SF/LV.

Pretty safe to say, I will not have a chance at these! Godspeed to those on the hunt!

From what I’ve been told the Santa Rosa event is the bigger of the two, bringing in cars & spectators from the East. If you happen to come out, give me a call…

Registration for Nisei Showoff has opened. Word out is that August 15th could be the last Showoff. If it is or isn’t, come pay respect to the original and come hang with some ENTHUSIASTS!

I am immensely bummed that I don’t have the means to finish the 240 for this event.

Don: Dad, am I able to play for Team Japan when I get older?
Me: Probably not, I’m pretty sure you have to be Japanese.
Don: What about Team Philippines?
Me: Well, if you’re old enough to play in the WBC, maybe you can get onto the Philippines Little League team *chuckle*
Don: Huh?
Me: Oh nothing…

made a lunch run to fatlace to pick up some of the new gear. I’ve always been a fan of the tiffany blue so had to get these.

you never know when mark will be in store but he and robby were both there. always nice to chat with those guys.

keep your eye to fatlace, they got some things cooking…COOKING!!!

With my department move to Fairfield coming in April, I am all systems go hunting for a commuter. I’ve pretty much narrowed it down to an EF Sedan or Wagon BUT if I can find a killer deal on an eg civic or 240 coupe, I may be swayed. I went out to the new office last week in the LX and I used over a quarter tank round trip…at $45+ a tank it definitely raised the urgency.

If you have any leads, it’d be appreciated =)
